Essential oils play an important role in our every day life here on the farm. Essential oils can be diffused, applied topically, and taken internally. They are very powerful and just a little goes along way.
At the farm we use them to clean, treat and prevent colds and infections, apply topically to help with skin conditions and that wonderful aging skin. They can be used as sprays to disinfect coops and barns. Oregano oil can be used as a natural antibiotic in feed if necessary. The list goes on and on of what they can be used for.
The best part is, essential oils are natural and safe! Not all essential oils are created the same, unfortunately a majority of the oils on the market today are not 100% therapeutic grade. They are cut with carrier oils, synthetic fragrances and pesticides. doTERRA essential oils cultivate all their plants from partners and small scale growers in the regions where the plants naturally grow. They use a third party testing company to ensure all their oils meet their criteria of Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade.
